Our Client is a multinational company with over 25.000 employees and is looking for an:

External Assets Specialist
Principali responsabilità
Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage assets and tools owned by our Client and located at supplier premises in the EMEAI region;
  • Report directly to the European Supplier Quality Manager; 
  • Create and implement a proprietary tool assessment process;
  • List all tools in the database with tracking of the asset number and the storage location;
  • Assess the conditions of tooling at supplier premises;
  • Classify tool criticality by importance for the business, quality, etc, using RPN criteria;
  • reate maintenance plan YoY and propose a budget to fund and deploy it, ensuring it is included in plant transformation plan; 
  • Support new tooling development (give feedback on supplier proposal, attend to first off tool part);
  • Track and control tool maintenance done by supplier;
  • Set-up loan agreements with the suppliers to clearly identify responsibilities and duties linked to asset management.

Candidato ideale
Ideal Candidate:

  • Engineering degree (preferably Mechanical, Industrial, Electromechanical);
  • 5 years' experience minimum in manufacturing and/or engineering department;
  • Fluency in English; 
  • Demonstrated experience conducting failure analysis, with proven ability to document detailed findings and make recommendations; 
  • Experience of a complex project being conducted with success; 
  • Particular knowledge of at least one of the following commodity is mandatory: plastics, metals electrical & electronics;
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus;
  • Prior experience in industrial components is a plus (e.g. automotive components; pumps; motors; etc.);
  • Availability to travel, (training, understanding the various business, meeting and visits of suppliers), up to 40/50% of the working time;
  • Ability to work well with various international cultures.
